I am a dedicated and hard-working IT professional with over 7 years' of varied experience in IT. I began my career in Web Development & Cloud, later focusing on IT Service Delivery. I have consistent experience in customer-facing roles and have liaised with stakeholders at all levels, from operatives, suppliers, contractors, and SMEs to Directors and CEOs. I have studied Computer Science and Computing at both Further and Higher Education levels, achieving distinction. Additionally, I hold accredited certifications from CompTIA and Cisco and have completed training in Microsoft technologies, including Azure.
Role History
IT Engineer – FM Conway
2024 - Present (1 Year)
IT Engineer for FM Conway, a large civil engineering contractor based in Sevenoaks, Kent. Responsible for enterprise-level Sysadmin, Service Desk and documentation tasks in line with ITIL best practices. Guiding junior team members with support tasks and the use of systems, including Microsoft Admin Center tasks (e.g., Exchange, 365, Entra), MDM (Workspace ONE), and extensive use of the Service Desk/Ticketing system (Zoho). I have completed project work including serving as Lead Service Desk Engineer on a company-wide Windows 11 rollout. Additionally, I perform general hardware and networking tasks, as well as on-premises server administration, including AD, WSUS, SMB, and NTFS permissions, with a focus on uptime, security, and redundancy.
Senior IT Technican – Hemlock Solutions

A varied role as an IT Technician (2nd - 3rd line) for an independent IT consultancy in Portsmouth and Hampshire (MSP). Responsibilities ranged from general IT support to infrastructure project work for small and medium enterprises. Managed users and endpoints, performed firmware and software upgrades, and imaged machines across macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 & 11. Managed, and occasionally set up, 365, Exchange, and Entra cloud-based environments. Performed Windows Server tasks, including setting up servers and roles and configuring AD forests. Carried out general networking tasks, including configuring switches, routers, and firewalls, as well as hands-on network hardware tasks such as cabling and crimping.

While not a technical role, working as a Bus Driver in London provided me with transferable skills in customer service and problem-solving. In 2019, I began retraining to further develop my IT skillset.

Freelance Web Developer for startups and agencies across the Battersea area, including It’sFriday, Mobjets, Visentin Casa, Style Alphabet, Hawk Digital, and Skyron. Contributed to varied projects for clients, including Nestlé and Bloomsbury Publishing. Gained experience programming in C#, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, SQL Server, and JavaScript. Configured both Linux (Apache) and Windows (IIS, MS SQL) servers, on both on-premises development machines and VPS, and completed various networking tasks such as DNS record configuration, port forwarding, and firewall configuration.
